On September 28, 2018 Thomas E. Capallo passed away peacefully at home, beloved husband of Debbie A. Capallo (nee Blimline); devoted father of Susie Barratt, Joe Capallo and his wife Katie, and Andy Capallo and his wife Julia; loving son of Gloria Capallo and the late William Capallo; dear brother of Robert Capallo and his wife Valerie, and Fred Capallo; loving grandfather of Owen and Ava Barratt, and William Capallo.
Tom was a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law and held a Master of Laws degree in taxation from Georgetown. He had an accounting degree from University of Delaware and he was a Certified Public Accountant. He played Lacrosse for the University of Delaware and this led him to become active in the Bel Air Recreation Committee for over 25 years. He coached lacrosse teams, rose through the organization serving as the Boy's Lacrosse Program Chair, a member of the Committee Board and ultimately the VP of Finance for the Committee. The Board was particularly fortunate for Tom's service as they were able to leverage his financial management and tax expertise to ensure the Rec Committee was well managed and in compliance with IRS regulations for non-profit organizations. Tom worked for C.W. Amos & Company from 1981 to 2001 in the tax department and became a partner in 1988. From 2002 to 2014 he ran his own accounting practice in Bel Air along with his wife Debbie who is also a Certified Public Accountant.
