It’s been 6 years since my friend Wally left our world.  I remember our 12 years in school and many memories of our adult years.  He has completed what we have yet to do.  Miss you my friend.  Anne Crane Scott

Wally was the most beloved classmate. We all have special memories of him. He brought joy to everyone he met.  I will miss him.

Ethel and I were saddened to hear about the passing of Wally. He was truly a great guy who loved his family and friends.
I was fortunate to meet Wally at Mt. Branch when I moved to Md. years ago. We shared many great rounds of golf together along with a great group of guys who hung out together. 
Wally was the Mayor of Mt. Branch to me and he had a great sense of humor and enjoyed kidding me often.

Wally was a great classmate and friend. I admired his positive attitude displayed this past June when we celebrated our 70th birthdays.  Thank you, Wally, for your service to our country.  My condolences to Terri, Julie, and Tracie.



Met and worked with Wally when I was with GE and he was at Graybar. Wrote many orders with him there and at Shepherd Electric and we shared many good times. He will be greatly missed in our business and as a friend of mine.

Wally what can one say a great guy with limitless friendship to give.I have the fondest memories of Wally from our time at Newton Lake to our fleeting trips to Florida on spring break,always has his hand and heat open.He loved sports and we played basketball and softball together for many years here in Maryland,and who could forget the Labor day Jerry Lewis big ball games with Rocky and Wally and of course squeekes.Above all he was an honest great family man who truly loved his wife Terri and what can you say about his two special girls Julie and Tracie,how he loved you and your mom.Wally you had a great impact on my life and you are and will be missed while I am on this earth,save a seat at the 1000 year old Scotch bar in heaven,loved you brother.amen.

Thought the world of him from day one. Played ball with him on occasion and admired his gifted athleticism. He was truly a class act in every way ... my sincere sympathy goes out to Wally’s entire family. Please don’t Mourn the loss but celebrate the life of a wonderful man. I've known Wally as a friend and a colleague in the electrical industry for over 25 years.  A wonderful person, proud of his family and a man of integrity!   A caring, kindhearted  gentleman.  The world is a better place because you were here.

I knew Wally from Shepherd.  When I started, he was one of the most warm and welcoming people that I had ever met.  He always had a word of encouragement and advice on dealing with even the most difficult customer.  He would talk about his family with such pride and glow!  I will miss seeing his friendly smile at our holiday event.

I am heartbroken at the loss of our dear W ally. My deepest sympathy to you all! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

For Wally, a bright light.
Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I  have only slipped away into the next room Nothing has happened. Everything remains exactly as it was. I am I, and you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed together.
Think of me, pray for me, let my name be spoken without the ghost of a shadow upon it.
Life means all that it meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is this death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am  but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just round the corner.
All is well.

RIP Wally.  I grew up just up the street from Wally and shared many of the same youthful activities.  As an older neighborhood kid he was always a positive influence on me.  I remember Don as well.   Condolences to his family.

Wally was a friend since childhood.  I have wonderful memories of happy times together.  My last conversation with him was a week and a half ago and he was an inspiration to me.  Go with God my friend .

Wally was honest about what he was facing but managed to be present in the moment giving all of us a gift.



I will always remember the great times we had on our family get together vacations in the Outer Banks.  Wally was one in a million and I will miss him terribly.  My deepest condolences to his entire family.

Wally and I grew up  in Carbondale, Pa.  We played sports together since we were about 7 or 8 years old.  Wally was a year older than I - and he was also better at just about every sport.  We used to meet as 7-8 year old kids and 'sneak' into the old armory across from his house in Cdale.  There was a basketball court in there that we would use until the military personnel would show up - they often would let us play even though they were doing their exercises.  We also played little league baseball together and softball as we got older.  We could often swim at his parent's cottage at Newton Lake.  He was a terrific guy and his entire family was smart and talented.  His Carbondale friends, and they are numerous, will miss him - we did not see him enough.  He adored his family and could never talk enough about his three girls.  May God Bless him and all of you.  

During my years at St. Rose, Wally was a dear friend.  Wally was one of the good guys; maybe even the best.  I wish to convey my condolence and sympathy to Wally's family and friends. I hope each day brings you peace in this unfortunate time.

There are far too many memories to single out just one for such a lifelong friend.  I can never forget him and will think of him always.  Terri, Julie and Tracie you are the best testaments to Wally's life and I know how much he loved you all.  I will hug you all soon and then we can reminisce about this great soul.  We were all so lucky to have had him as part of our lives, but none more than you. I hope you can find some solace in that during your bereavement.  Wally's was a life well lived and his absence is immeasurable.  I loved him.
