Bruno Miranda, 87, of Belton, Missouri passed away at his home March 10, 2023. Bruno was born October 6, 1935 in Waco, Texas to Santiago and Reyes (DeLaCruz) Miranda. He married Maria Luz in August, 1957 in Robstown, Texas where the couple would live until moving their family to Belton, Missouri in 1974.
Bruno was employed by General Motors for 29 years until his retirement. He loved fishing, listening to his Mexican music and coin shooting with his metal detector.
Bruno was preceded in death by his parents Santiago and Reyes; beloved wife Maria Miranda; brother Daniel Miranda; and sisters Maria Hernandez and Eva Garcia. He is Survived by sons Ricardo Miranda (Lindy), Ramiro Miranda, and Bruno Miranda, Jr.; daughter Diana Courtney; sisters Estilla Magaña and Rosa Elva Maldonadi; brothers Manuel Miranda and Martin Miranda (of Newnan, Georgia); three grandchildren: Gabi, Tiffany, Jesse; and six great-grandchildren: Leland, Dawson, Jameson, Ava, Kyla, and Anna; as well as many friends and other family members.
A visitation for Bruno will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at McGilley & George Funeral Home, 12913 Grandview Road, Grandview, Missouri. A funeral will occur Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 12913 Grandview Road, Grandview, Missouri. A burial will occur Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 12:00 PM in Belton Cemetery, 710 S. Scott, Belton, Missouri.
