

Charles was born February 12th, 1933, in New Hope, North Carolina, the son of the late Robert And Wilma Weatherman.
Charles and Nancy met in Waco, TX in 1958, and were married three weeks later. They were married 42 years before she passed away in 2000.
Charles retired from the United States Air Force in 1978 as a Senior Master Sergeant. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars, and enjoyed tours in Japan and Morocco, before returning stateside for the final time in 1973. He served out the remainder of his military career at Richards Gebaur AFB in Belton, MO, and Scott AFB, St. Louis, MO. After retiring, he went on to serve as a civil servant, working for the Marine Corp Finance Center in Kansas City, MO. Charles was a lifelong reader, and took great pride in his book collection of over 4,000 titles. He was a Past Grand Master of the Free Masons, and held a 33rd degree.
He is survived by daughters Molly and her husband Dennis, of Denver CO, and Charlotte and her husband Michael of Overland Park, KS, daughter-in-law Louise of Sydney Australia, and grandchildren Lauren and James of Sydney, Australia, Wendy and husband, Rob, Chad and wife, Nikki, and Molly, of Seattle, WA, Tod and wife, Whitney of Santa Cruz, CA. great-grandchildren Riley, Bailey, Nation, Odin, Baer and Lorelai.
In addition to his wife Nancy, Charles was preceded in death by his son Donald.
A private burial in Belton, MO will be held Friday, April 4th
