Eva Garcia, 75, passed away July 15, 2022. She was born on August 2, 1946 in Robstown, TX. Alongside three sisters and four brothers from her two beloved parents, Santiago and Reyes Miranda. Eva was the most caring daughter, wife, mother, nana, aunt, sister and friend. She loved spending time with her large family. She also loved being in the kitchen making the most delicious meals, listening and dancing to her favorite Tejano music played by her cousins who are musicians. She has passed on many traditions that we will cherish for years to come.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Santiago and Reyes Miranda, brother Daniel Miranda, and sister Maria Hernandez. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Juan Garcia; two daughters Gina Thompson (Lloyd Bartley) and Amy Ponder (Bruce); sisters Estella Magana and Rosie Maldonado; three brothers Bruno Miranda, Manuel Miranda and Martin Miranda; five grandchildren Adam Garcia (Morgan), Ashley Thompson, Amanda Croft, Gavin Garcia and Adrianna Bartley. In addition to her three great-granddaughters Letty, Olyvia and Oaklyn.
