Jacky LeRoy Conine, Sr., 78, passed away peacefully at Research Medical Center, Kansas City on May 5th, 2021. Jack was born to Elsie and Jack Conine in Garden City, Kansas May 26, 1942. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lynn Conine, his children, Lee and Rena Conine, his adopted daughter, Colleen Fujimoto, his sister Barbara Slagle (Randy), his brother Ronnie Conine (Peggy), sister-in-law Janis Conine and many nieces’, nephews, grandchildren and great-grand children.
Jack was a long time resident of Belton, Missouri. He worked his entire career with Bendix/Allied Signal/Honeywell for over 43 years. After retirement he became a a dedicated volunteer with Heart n Hand Ministries. Jack was a member of Belton Christian Church and was always willing, ready and able to do what the church or anyone needed of him. Jack was also a former Boy Scout leader in Belton’s Troop 210. He was also a former Master of Belton Masonic Lodge.
Jacky dedicated his life to helping people. He loved being of use to people who needed support. He was a kind man with a soft heart. Commonly referred to as a “gentle giant” and often called “Moose” by his many friends. He will be sorely missed by family and friends alike.
