John spent the majority of his youth in Belton and Wellington, MO. He later resided in Kansas City and Raymore.
John was the baby of five. He spent a lot of his time with his “second parents” Lee and Vera Phillips.
John had a passion for “stuff”. He is best known in the community for his heart in helping people and scrapping.
John was proceeded in death by his mom, dad, step-dad Irvin, bonus dad Lee, brothers Richard, Larry and Jamie. Sister Pam, brother-in-law Harley, nephew Larry and his beloved friend Nancy.
He is survived by sisters, Patty (Richard), Sondra, Karin, Tammy (Ralph) & Suzy. Brothers, Tom, Vance and Robert. Nephews, Rob, Richard, Randy, Joe, Jeff, Richard, Chris, Johnny, Jonathan, Timmy and Eros. Nieces, Tricia, Cindy, Mary, Mandy, Natalie, Pam, Brenda, Mikki and Tina. As well as many, many great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 2nd at Loyal Order of Moose 2537 Blue Ridge Blvd. Kansas City, MO 64129 from 2:00-4:00
