Josephine Bernice Houser, 87, of Belton, Mo., passed away March 1, 2011. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 4, at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 700 Trevis, Belton. The visitation will be 12 to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to Grace Hospice. Josephine was born Jan. 28, 1924, in Kansas City, Mo., to Edwin and Mary Rogers Woodall. She was a lifelong resident of Belton and a member of St. Sabina Catholic Church. Josephine worked at Russell Stover's Stores. She worked on airplanes during WWII and at Bendix and was a Real Estate broker in the area for many years. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Vernon Houser and sister, Mary Rose Robinson. Survived by a son, Michael Joseph Gibson, Belton; two daughters, Shirley Ann Gibbons, Belton, and Dona Carol Yeager, Belton; eight grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
