Mattie Elizabeth Stimpfel

Mattie Stimpfel 72 of Belton, MO passed away May 24 at home surrounded by her Loving Family. Mattie was born March 27, 1942 in Merwin, MO to Willaim C. and Sarah Fink Judd.

Services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday May 28 at McGilley & George Funeral Home 611 Chestnut, Belton. Visitation Tuesday May 27, from 6 to 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Contributions to American Heart Assn.

Mattie was a member of El-Bethel Baptist Church in Belton. She owned and operated a Child Care business and worked in the Deli at Walmart retiring in 2008.

Mattie was preceded in death by her parents; brother Edward Larned and sisters Fern Miller; Faye Allen and Evelyn Fink and granddaughter Amber Cannon.

Mattie is survived by her Husband of 51 years, Henry B. Stimpfel. Sons Henry D. and Victoria of Horn Lake, MS and Daniel F. and Beth of Oklahoma City; 4 daughters Sarah and Tim Horn of Grandview; Sonya and Pete Strawn of Belton; Debra and Jim Paris of Paris, TX; Pamela and Mike Wilgus of Palm Harbor, FL. Brother William and Linda Judd of Peculiar, MO and sister Elsie Gunter of Knob Noster, MO. 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
