William Lewis Wilburn, 77, of Belton, MO, passed away August 24, 2011. Visitation 6-8 pm Friday, August 26 at McGilley & George Funeral Home in Belton. Funeral services at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 27 at the funeral home. Contributions suggested to KC Hospice. Burial with military honors in the Belton Cemetery. William was born January 9, 1934 in Meadville, MO to Clarence and Emmalea Elliot Wilburn. He moved to the area in 1971 and was a TSGT Air Force retiree. Survived by wife of 57 years, Patsy of the home; sons, Michael Wilburn, Choctaw OK and Bill Wilburn, Rudy AK; daughter, Ellen Swearingin, Raymore, MO; brother, Clarence Wilburn, Chillicothe MO; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
