Alexander Sage, 95 of Dunnellon, Florida died on Friday, December 31, 2010. He was born in Jenner, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, June 8, 1915 to Enoch (Scuz) and Elizabeth (Lawrence) Sage. Mr. Sage was a retired welder in the mining industry and was a member of the United Mine Workers Union. He attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Citrus Springs, Florida and enjoyed gardening and puzzles.
Mr. Sage was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Palazzi Sage.
Survivors include daughter, Carole Sheftic and husband Daniel of Dunnellon, Florida; son, Jeffrey Sage and wife Carol of Savoy, Illinois; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and will be greatly missed by Marge Street.
Inunrment services will take place on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Fero Memorial Gardens Gazebo.
