William 'Bill' E. Mathew, 86 of Citrus Springs, Florida died on Monday, January 31, 2011. He was born in Philippi, West Virginia to Earl and Molly (Bennett) Mathew. Bill was a retired tool maker, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Bible Fellowship in Tallmadge, Ohio. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, gardening and traveling.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret 'Sparky' Mathew and daughter, Donna Quaint.
Survivors include his sons, Rick Mathew and wife Rachel of Citrus Springs, Florida, Dan Mathew and wife Emilie of Kansas City, Missouri and Don Mathew and wife Rosalind of Salem, Ohio; brother, Butch Mathew and wife Betty of Parkersburg, West Virginia; sister, Patty Boyland of Ohio; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Memorial Service of Remembrance, Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Mission Possible Ministries, 9921 N. Deltona Blvd., Citrus Springs, Florida 34434.
