Carlene Ferguson, 50 of Citrus County, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 18th, 2020 after a long battle with ovarian cancer while surrounded by her loving family. Carlene was born on December 27th 1969 in St. Petersburg, Florida to Paul and Sam Stewart. She enjoyed spending most of her time with her grandbabies and family. With her witty sense of humor, she always brought laughter to everyone she encountered. She was always ready to try a new culinary adventure and strived to plan get-togethers and make every occasion special and memorable. She was an amazing cook and loved watching cooking shows. She was passionate about gardening and had a knack for growing plants and flowers. Carlene and her daughter challenged themselves to achieve new heights by going back to college where they earned an associate’s degree in medical coding and billing. She worked in the medical field for over 30 years and was valued for her strong work ethic and dependability by her coworkers and doctors. Carlene will be dearly missed by all.
Carlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronnie Ferguson, cherished son, James Stewart and adored Aunt, Helen Eklund. She is survived by her son, Robert Stewart and daughter, Linda Ferguson, grandchildren, Nathan, Elizabeth, Ayla, Isabelle and Arya, her parents, Paul and Sam Stewart, sisters, Nicole and Darrell Henderson, Spring and Nick Lohmann, uncle’s, Robert Eklund, Ron Stewart & family, Jim Stewart & family and brother and sister in law, Johnnie and Tina Ferguson, nieces and nephews, Amanda, Kadie, Tyler, Brooke, Christian and Kayla, many treasured cousins and close friends.
