Vicky was a special person who cared deeply about her friends and family. She led the Spanish American Club of Citrus County as President at one time and continued supporting the club for many many years. May she never be forgotten.

My cousin Carmen who I never meet but we talked on the phone a lot I remember my father Higinio Zaragoza SR. would talk about Carmen a lot.  In 2015 we started to keep in touch by phone she always asked how I was doing and the family she also called me about two weeks before she went into the hospital. I was planning on meeting Carmen this year I will miss her very much and I am saddened to hear of her passing may she rest in peace. My condolences to the Bravo family.

TO THE BRAVO FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!...

     We sadly mourn the loss of Vicki, our longtime friend, along with all the members of SAC and send our prayers and condolences to Bob and their son!
     As Vice-President of SAC under Efrain who was President from 1998-1999, they both worked very hard to ensure that the Club was successful in all their endeavors, which were many!!..Though we returned to Long Island in 2002 after ten years in Lecanto, we kept in touch frequently and shared my familiy's activities with her and she in turn shared hers...She also used to update us on the events of the Club and its members...
     She will be sadly missed as our "friend" and a faithful and committed SAC member!!

On behalf of our dear mother, Vidalina Flack, who at 94 years, still resides in the house next door to Carmelita’s in Ponce, PuertoRico; we extend our condolences and sincere sympathy to the Bravo-Velez-Zaragoza families. Carmelita (Vicky) as we knew her was 7 years old when our mom and her mother, Ana with her four daughters met in 1946. A special bond was created and our lives were forever intertwined as family & in sincere friendship. Older sister Betty and our mom, went to school together. Her sister, Sara, was my brother’s godmother. Over the years we visited in the Bronx and Long Island. Then later on kept in touch by phone or correspondence. After I moved to Florida, we kept in touch by phone & email. It saddens us deeply to learn of her death. She had called on 12/3/2020 to let me know she would be undergoing surgery and to please pray for her as well to inform my mom & brother. I wished her well and told her we would pray for her well being. We will continue to pray for her eternal Rest In Peace and for her husband, Bob, her son, family and friends. Although, at this time, there is grief and sorrow, our memories of Carmelita’s life and how she interacted with each one of us, will forever be remembered and cherished.  We are grateful for sharing life with her and her family. It was precious to us! We loved them dearly! Amen.

Dearest Bravo Family,
We wish to offer our deepest condolences on the passing of a wonderful, beautiful and fun loving lady, Vicki.  It was  always so nice to get a cheery call from Vicki to check on us,  even though she herself could be having a rough day. She will be greatly missed, but God has gained another angel.  We will see her again, leading the dance in heaven.  May her memory be eternal.

A more dedicated member of our Spanish American Club will be tough to find. Vicky was a true  and real  wonderful person, her commitment to perfection was uncanny. She will be miss so much. Even through her suffering days she will call us to inquire  about our well being, that's friendship . She care so much for everyone she met and was so sincere about it that it showed through her  beautiful smile. Bob, Al and family, Bill and I share in your suffering and pray that GOD bring you serenity and peace.  She has earned a seat within the KINGDOM of OUR LORD and will rest in peace.

Vicki Bravo as I knew her, but it was her maiden name, Carmen Victoria Velez, Bravo, that eventually brought us together some 20 years ago at the Spanish American club. I will forever cherish the memories we made on our many trips and adventures together.  My partner and better half who also passed away a year ago had these wonderful memories of our times together. I will miss Vicki the rest of my days. I will cherish the memories of our times together with Bob, Mary, Vicki and myself and be grateful we had this time together. May she Rest In Peace and know that she was loved and cherished.

Our most sorrowful and heartfelt condolences to Bob, Al Jr and rest of family on the passing of a very special lady. I will miss talking to her on the phone and many times she giving good advice when l was president of the Spanish American Club. She cared a lot for the club and had given much of herself.
