He is survived by his wife, Mary Stonaker Hansbury, his daughters Lauren Marie Hansbury and Kristin Elizabeth Hansbury Brewer, son-in-law Russell Brewer, his sisters Carolyn Edwards and her family and Janet Hill and her family.
Ed served his community well as an officer and Sergeant with Miami-Dade Police Department for 33 years. Many sought him out for his knowledge and experience. During his retirement years he resided with his family in Citrus County, Florida.
Ed will be missed by many, but especially by his family. He was a great husband, father and friend. Until we meet again, Ed, rest in peace. You are forever in our hearts.
