Geraldine M. Werking, 88, of Citrus Springs, FL, passed away on Fri., April 11, 2025 at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital, Inverness, FL. A native of White Plains, NY, she was born May 22, 1936 to Gerard and Caroline (Yack) Wilker, one of two children. Geri, as she was known to everyone, was a retired loan officer in the banking industry and moved to Citrus Springs in 1988 from Bowie, MD. She was of the Roman Catholic faith and a member of the Citrus Springs Cracker Quilting Guild. In addition to quilting, Geri enjoyed reading and baking. Her perfect day would include spending time talking with family and friends and attending her quilting group meetings and creating her quilts. She also enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles; cooking and creating her own recipes, and watching her favorite shows on TV. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Werking was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert P. Werking, Sr.; daughter Kathleen Werking and brother Larry Wilker. Geri is survived by her children Robert P. Werking, Jr. (wife Charlene), Falls Church, VA and Raymond Werking, Arnold, MD and grandchildren Amy Werking, Fairfax, VA and James Werking, Ballard, WA.
