SLOAN, Helen L. 86 of Lecanto, Fl., passed away Jan. 23, 2013 while under the care of Hospice of Citrus County. A native of Nashville, TN, she came to the area in 1987 from Miami, Fl. Mrs. Sloan was a member of the Lecanto Church of Christ and a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter, Sheila DiIorio of Buford, Ga.; 4 siblings William, Wayne, Margaret and Burdie, all of the Nashville area and one grandchild Alan Cowart. Funeral Services will be held, Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Fero Funeral Home with interment to follow at Fero Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Citrus Co.
