Elizabeth Jean Hedden, 71 of Hernando, Florida passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2012 in the loving care of her family and Hospice of Citrus County. She was born on Thursday, August 15, 1940 to Frank and Lena (Tucker) Plummer. Jean was a retired purchasing agent for the township of Bridgewater, New Jersey. She moved to this area from Naples, Florida five years ago. Jean enjoyed reading, cooking and volunteered by crocheting and knitting blankets and designing crafts for Hospice of Citrus County.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Kenneth W. Hedden of Hernando, Florida; son, Kevin Hedden of Thailand; brother, Milton Plummer of Illinois and sisters, Jane Bair and husband Steve of Illinois and Judy Vancil of West Chester, Ohio.
A Memorial Service of Remembrance will take place on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Fero Funeral Home.
