The measure of a man is not about how he died, but how he lived. It is not about what he gained, it is about what he gave.  This is how you measure a man. And Jerry gave his all.  When I met Jerry it was what he wanted to do for his wife and family.  Jerry wanted to give his wife the kitchen she deserved and he did.  I spent many days working on his home and we had allot of conversations.  I can't remember one that was about his needs or wants.  It was always about others, they were about what he could do for his family, friends and I am sure for others he never even met.  He was a man you could count on. I know he is home with our Lord and Savior and I am sure he blessing others as I am writing this.  Patti, Matt, Melissa Jack, Bob and family we are truly sorry for your loss. My Dear loving friend I will miss you deeply you were special in many ways we shared many laughs and tears together you always made me feel better! You are An Angel now and I'm sure God needed you to watch over and take care of your Family and help the thru this grief period. Scotty always tells the story of Jerry coming up to our front door to see if he and his friends could play  football on our side yard, of course Scotty said yes.
