He was a proud veteran of the United States Army who served in Vietnam 1966-67, longtime member of Herkimer Pentecostal church and retired from Remington Arms. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time cooking, coaching Little League and helping neighbors.
He was married to his childhood sweetheart Elaine for 59 years. He was also blessed to have his sons Joseph Jr. (Christina), son Michael (Heather) and grandchildren Michael Jr (Courtney), Joseph III, Taylor, James, Brady, great-grandchildren Lakelynn, Maverick & Nolan, brother Mario (Karen) and many nieces and nephews.
