

She was born in Manhattan, NY on October 18, 1940, the daughter of the late Henry and Catherine Brandt. Graduate of White Plains High School 1958 (Bob WPHS 1957, Betty WPHS 1954). She married the love of her life and favorite golfing partner, Robert Manecky May 22,1965 at Saint John's Church in White Plains, NY. She spent most of her life in New York, first working for AT&T and later doing the bookkeeping for her husband’s Mobile station. The couple moved to Beverly Hills, FL from Goldens Bridge, NY in 1990.
An avid tennis player and golfer, she went on many golf trips with her husband, and was the Ladies
Champion for several years at their New York Club. She also had a hole in one on Pine Ridge FL course, the verification certificate proudly displayed for many years in her parents home. She loved playing in the local ladies league, and her sunny disposition and pleasant manner, not to mention her good scores, made her a favorite partner for her golfing friends. Her other sports interests were following the Tampa Bay Rays, Buccaneers and PGA.
In addition to her parents Kay was preceded in death by her younger sister, Joan Reichenback of Greenwood Lake, NY and sister-in-law, Marian Nicholson of New Jersey.
Left to survive is Bob, her husband of 57 years, her sister Betty Houle and husband Len of Beverly Hills, her brother Henry Brandt and wife Linda of Armonk, NY, brother-in-law Ed Manecky of NY, sisters-in-law Marge Goslin of Arizona and Katherine Mathews of NY and Valerie Shurko and husband Jerry of New Jersey along with many nieces and nephews with whom she celebrated many joyous occasions. Not to mention her favorite canine companion, Sniffles surviving at home.
Kay was a loyal member of Our Lady of Grace Parish in Beverly Hills where a Funeral Mass will be held at 11am, Thursday, June 16, 2022 with interment to follow at Fero Memorial Gardens.
