Lillian Taylor of Beverly Hills, Florida passed away on February 27, 2018 in Beverly Hills, Florida. She was born in Paterson, New Jersey to Shekry and Freada Janoyan. She attended Pace University and graduated from William Paterson College with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She was a member of Kappa Delta Pi. Lillian was a second grade teacher at the Heights School in Oakland, New Jersey for 30 years before retiring. She was a member of WELCA and served as a treasurer and president, as well as serving on the Alter Guild and greeter.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Peter, a sister and brother-in-law Helen and Charles Claeys, a nephew Gary Claeys, her husband of 59 years, John and a daughter Cathy Lyn Taylor.
Survivors include her son, John Taylor and wife Monika; grandsons, John Cowan Taylor and Charles Taylor; niece, Pat (Rob) Wintersteen; nephew, David Claeys and wife Laurie; 2 grandnieces and 3 grandnephews.
Memorial Service of Remembrance will take place on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with a light lunch following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lillian's memory to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 439 E. Norvell Bryant Highway, Hernando, Florida 34442.
