Marianne Becktel, 65 of Hernando, Florida passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013. She was born on Friday, April 2, 1948 in Gary, Indiana to Frank and Anne (Oracho) Fusillo. Marianne was a retired training director with the social security administration in Chicago, Illinois and moved to this area 13 years ago from Michigan. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America and was a handler for search and rescue dogs in Michigan.
Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Becktel of Hernando, Florida and son, Sean Becktel of Seattle, Washington.
Memorial Mass of Remembrance, Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 6 Roosevelt Blvd., Beverly Hills, Florida 34465.
