He served his country in the National Guard and was a retired Maintenance Manager in the Landscaping industry. Member ships include the German American Club.
Survivors include his wife, Ursula ; son, Richard F. Malone, Jr of Naples, FL; 2 daughters Sherry Carani of Charleston, SC and Susan Prescott of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.; 12 grandchildren and 7 great Grandchildren and one on the way; 3 step-sons John Paul Erving, William Frank Erving and Christopher Michael Erving all of Naples, Fl. Richard was also preceded in passing by his step-daughter Ursula Marie Erving.
A Celebration of His Life will be held Friday, Jan 10, 2014 at 4:00 PM at Fero Funeral Home.
