FISCHER, Robert C. 85 of Citrus Springs, Fl. passed away April 3, 2013 while under the care of Hospice of Citrus County. A native of Starlight, PA, he came to the area in 1979 from Binghamton, NY. He served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II. Throughout his life, he owned and operated his own farm and service station and later retired from Atlantic Richfield, as a truck driver. Robert was an avid old car enthusiast and a member of the Model “A” Club.
Survivors include, his wife Barbara; 2 sons, Tom of Binghamton, NY and Ray of Temecula, CA; daughter Linda Dake of Dolores, CO; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held, Monday 10 AM at Grace Baptist Church, 2672 W. Edison Place, Citrus Springs, FL 34434-7110 with interment at Florida National Cemetery at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Citrus County, PO Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464.
