Robert R. Troyer, 79, of Beverly Hills, FL, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on November 25, 1934. He was preceded in death by his parents Judge Robert R. Troyer and Dorothy D. Troyer. Robert was a veteran of the US Army and had been recalled into the service during the Berlin Crisis.
Robert had a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University, a B.A. in Accounting from Memphis State University, and an MBA from Memphis State University. Robert worked for Kimberly-Clark for over 39 years.
Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Ruth Whitcomb Troyer; daughter Julie Baker and her husband Jerry, of Appleton, WI, and their children Megan of New York City and Nolan of Appleton, WI; son John Troyer and his wife Cindy, of Knoxville, TN, and their children Zane and Zeke of Knoxville, TN; and daughter Susan Hicks, of Charleston, SC. Survivors also include Robert’s brother, Thomas Troyer, and his wife Sally, of Chevy Chase, MD.
Memorial Gathering on Saturday November 29, 2014 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at Fero Funeral Home.
In his memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Florida Gulf Coast Chapter.
