Tina Montgomery

She was born May 6, 1933, in Winnsboro, SC to Ernest and Elizabeth (Clarke) Stevenson.

Tina graduated from Mt. Zion Institute and received her Associate Degree in Business from Winthrop University. She was an executive secretary employed in Columbia and Winnsboro, SC, as well as St. Louis, MO, before spending 14 years as a homemaker after the birth of her children – Cynthia Lea (Cindy) in 1959 and Edgar Davis III (Dave) in 1962.

After the family moved to Clearwater, FL in 1968, Tina returned to the workforce as secretary to the President of United, Division of Pfizer in Largo, FL and retired from United in 1995 with 22½ years of service.

She and her husband, Ed, retired to Citrus Springs, FL in 2004 to be near their daughter and her family.

Tina is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Davis Montgomery II and her daughter, Cynthia Montgomery Bixler Osteen.

She is survived by her son, Dave Montgomery (Sue Montgomery) of Citrus Springs, FL; granddaughters Cheri Swain (Phillip Swain) of Orlando, FL and Laurie Nast (Bobby Nast) of Citrus Springs, FL.; and great-grandchildren Carter Swain and Ashlyn Swain of Orlando, FL.
