Ann Marie Pilkerton

Ann Marie Flemming Pilkerton age 88 of Fairfield, AL passed away February 7, 2012. The daughter of Harry Clinton Flemming, Sr. and Pearl Alphonsine Horst Flemming was born in Birmingham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey F. Pilkerton, Sr. and son Aubrey F. Pilkerton, Jr. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Parish in Wylam, AL. She was a graduate of Saint Paul’s High School and Birmingham Business School. She worked at A&P, Hormel, McGough Bakery, and Flowers Industries in Birmingham. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann Pilkerton of Birmingham; sons, Thomas Pilkerton (Melanie) of Pelham, Timothy Pilkerton (Katie) of Morris, and James Kelly Pilkerton (Linda) of Vestavia; one sister, Margaret Selman (Frank) of Birmingham; ten grandchildren, Kristin Erin Pilkerton of Birmingham, Jonathan Andrew Pilkerton (Frazier) of Montgomery, Michael Patrick Pilkerton (Katie) of Birmingham, Daniel Edward Pilkerton of Mount Olive, Eric Thomas Pilkerton of Mount Olive, Meagan Elaine Pilkerton of Seattle, WA, Emily Rachel Pilkerton of Vestavia, Aubrey John Pilkerton of Vestavia, Dylan Mark Hardy of Pelham, and Amber Savannah Hardy of Pelham. Visitation will be Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel with Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be Friday, February 10, 2012 at 11:00 am at Elmwood Chapel with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Family wishes to thank Odyssey Hospice and her caregivers, Debara Hill and Emma Baltimore. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Foundation or American Cancer Society.
