DOUGLAS, BARBARA ELLEN, age 96 of Birmingham, departed the land of the dying and entered the land of the living on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Douglas. She is survived by her sons, Dave Douglas (Betty), Jack G. Douglas (Jan) and Donny Douglas (Gail); daughter, Suzi Flanders (Robert); 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren; and other extended family. She and her husband were longtime members of Woodlawn Baptist Church and she served along with her husband at a number of local churches over the years. Her family will celebrate her life with visitation on Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 11:30 – 1:30 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. A private family graveside service will be held at a later time.
