KNIGHTON, BARBARA L., age 78 of Trussville, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Willie Mae Daniell Morse; and sister, Margaret Bunn. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Larry Knighton; son, David Knighton (Kristy); grandson, Lucas Knighton; sisters, Elizabeth Thompson and Ann Allen; and several nieces and nephews. Barbara served over 30 years with the Jefferson County Department of Revenue where she was loved and respected. She placed her faith in Jesus Christ and was a woman of high character with endless kindness and patience. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 10-11 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Daniell Cemetery in West Blocton.
