Barbara Nell LeVinge age 83 of Alabaster, Alabama , formerly of Central Park passed away on June 19, 2025, at Baptist Health Shelby Hospital. She resided at Maplewood Assisted Living , Helena, Alabama, where she found Joy with her adopted Maplewood family, whom were a blessing in her life. Barbara-was a world traveler for years traveling abroad, an avid Auburn football fan, being a seasoned ticket holder for many years. She blessed so many charities through the years, “Wounded Warriors”, “The Boys Club” , and others as well as her passion for her fur babies throughout the years. Barbara, retired from South Central Bell after 29 years. She is now with her precious mama Bobbie Bolling LeVinge, and Dad, Leon LeVinge. Barbara for many years attended Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Parrish, and later moved to St Thomas Apostle Catholic Church Montevallo, Alabama. Mr. Phil Watson, of St Thomas, truly was a blessing to Barbara, bringing her communion on a regular basis, when her health was failing. We give thanks for Barbara life, our neighbor of 27 years, friends for 33 yrs, Steve and Terry Johnson of Alabaster, cared for her until the Lord called her home.
Graveside service will be Sunday, June 22,2025 at 1:30 Elmwood Cemetery.
