Beverly Ray of Moody, AL passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at the age of 74. She was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Ray was born in Birmingham, AL on May 26, 1945. She retired from Protective Life Insurance with over 33 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Mozette Morris; sister, Gail Morris and her brother, Wayne Morris. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles Ray; two sons, Kenneth Ray (Donna) and Keith Ray (Mark); a sister, Jackie Morris; her sister-in-law, Susie; grandchildren, Christopher Ray and Katelyn Ray; great grandchildren, Ella Ray and Jace Ray; her nieces, Barbie and Amy; a nephew, Scott.
Services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel at 11 AM with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
