Blake Kenneth Floyd, 30, of Hoover Al, passed away on August 18, 2018. He was born August 11, 1988, grew up in Hoover and attended Hoover High School. He was trained as an auto mechanic and enjoyed repairing and tinkering with anything mechanical.
He is survived by his father, Harold Kenneth Floyd; mother, Shirley Evesque Floyd; sister, Lindsay Floyd Kelley and his brother, Jonathan Ryan Floyd, all of Hoover, AL.
He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, William Albert Evesque and Berma Payne Wesley and his paternal grandparents, Jake Floyd and JoAnn Floyd. Blake will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday August 22, 1-2 PM at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel and funeral 2 PM. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
