STEWART, BONNIE J., age 68 of Birmingham, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry E. Stewart, Sr. and his loving family that accepted her as their own including parents, Rosalee and Harry Stewart; and sisters, Mary Rose Whitten, Janice Murphree and June Opsahl. She is survived by her son, Jerry E. Stewart, Jr. (Cathy); and grandchildren, Kevin Stewart (Lindsey) and Kayla Stewart. Bonnie was a member of CrossPoint Baptist Church. She was an incredibly Godly mom and Gee focused on family, grandkids and friends. Bonnie was described by many as sweet, special and a true lady who will always hold a special place in our hearts. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 5-8 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Her service will be on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at CrossPoint Baptist Church beginning at 12 with visitation from 11-12. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
