Carolyn Laird 83 of Pleasant Grove, AL passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2012. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Laird was a long time member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis F. Laird; brothers, Dave Inman, Raymond Inman, Tony Inman, Junior Inman; sister, Irene Kirkpatrick; parents, Walter and Lottie L. Inman. She is survived by her two sons, Randy Laird (Laura) and Jeff Laird; grandchildren, Chad Laird (Angela), Matthew Laird (Ashley) Samantha Laird, Courtney Laird, and Alex Laird; two great-great grandchildren, Abel Laird and Emilee Dennis. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am at Elmwood Chapel on Thursday, August 30, 2012 until the service begins at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Methodist Church of Pleasant Grove or the American Heart Association.
