Mrs. Carolyn Rushton Williamson, 82, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021. Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Williamson, of fifty-four years; mother, Sara R. Muellenbach and father, William N. Muellenbach. She is survived by her two daughters; Laura Benson (Mike, deceased) of Scottsboro, AL., and Stephanie Meadows (Ron) of McCalla, AL., son, David Williamson (Leisa) of Frisco, TX., and a sister, Sally Blackmon of Section, AL. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Jay Benson (Abbie), Meredith Benson, Colin Williamson, Laurie Williamson, Meghan Meadows, Patrick Meadows and one great-granddaughter, Harper Benson.
A public visitation will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 10:00am-11:00am in the Maple Room of Johns Ridout's Elmwood Chapel located at 800 Dennison Ave. SW. Birmingham, AL. 35211 with a Celebration of Life Graveside Service to follow at Elmwood Cemetery at 11:00am.
Active pallbearers will be Jay Benson, Colin Williamson, Patrick Meadows, Austin Criss, Zach Belvin, Tyson Blankenship and Storm Blankenship.
Rev. Jeff Hickey will be officiating. Johns Ridout's Elmwood Chapel directing.
