Charleen Sims

Charleen Sims, age 85, has moved on from her home on earth to her true home in heaven on August 3, 2021. We know she was greeted with the open arms of her loving creator, Lord and Savior and he said, “Well done my good and faithful servant.” We will greatly miss her loving spirit, her many talents, and her love and care for so many. We have lost a mighty prayer warrior and beloved friend. But we look forward with great anticipation to being with her again. She is survived by her loving husband Reeves Sims, daughter Susan Hill, son-in-law Brad Hill, granddaughters Sarah and Anna Hill, daughter Lisa Colgate, son-in law Steve Harbin, granddaughter Winter Harbin, and her brother and sister-in-law James and Nancy Norton.

She loved her church home of Huffman Baptist Church from 1969 until 2017 when she and Reeves moved to Auburn, Alabama. She served diligently and has many wonderful friends from Huffman. One of her greatest goals was to make sure everyone knows Jesus. In lieu of flowers, we would ask donations to be made to Greg and Hanna Spence, missionaries for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The family feels the love, prayers, and support of so many who she loved and who love Charleen. We will have a celebration of her life at a later date.
