BARKER, CHARLES C., age 72 of Irondale, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Myra Barker; son, Charles C. Barker, Jr.; daughters, Wendy Wilson (Tim) and Laura Barker Cain; brothers, Dewey Barker (Jane) and Donald Barker (Linda); and grandchildren, Alicia Wilson, Charles C. Barker, III, Christian Cain, Devin Cain and Emily Cain. Charlie was a member of First Baptist Church of Irondale and retired from Carraway Hospital after 38 years of service. His family will receive friends on Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. His service will be at the chapel on Friday, February 14, 2014 beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
