Cheryl Marrs Cribb, age 63, of Pinson, Alabama, passed away on September 27, 2022, in Pinson, Al. Cheryl was born on November 21, 1958, in Shreveport, LA, to Randall and Virginia Marrs. Affectionately known as “Cherry,” she grew up near Shreveport, LA, with her four siblings. The family later relocated to Citronelle, AL, where she completed high school at Citronelle High School. In her teen years, she worked as a vet tech and discovered her love for animals, especially horses. She worked most of her career as a surveyor in construction. Cherry was an avid watercolor painter, drawer, and gardener. In addition, she held an associate degree in aviation mechanics.
Cherry is preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Faye Marrs.
Those left to cherish her memories are her father, Randall Denver Marrs of Pell City, AL; sisters, Renee Marrs, Melanie Smith, and Angela Orrick; brother, Randall Marrs; children, Jennifer Cribb, Ray Cribb, and Joseph Cribb.
The family will receive friends at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 4-5 pm.
A celebration of life for Cherry will follow at 5:00 pm. Her ashes will be released into the waters of Gulf Shores on the 64th anniversary of her birth.
