

Connie Little Hopper of Leeds, Alabama, passed away November 23, 2024. She grew up in Lipscomb, Alabama, where she graduated from Jones Valley High School. After attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham, she went on to have a lengthy career in the insurance business where after over forty years she retired from McGriff Seibels and Williams. She was a member of Church of the Highlands and attended the Grants Mill campus. There she served on the Dream Team and was a member and leader of many small groups. Connie loved her church, family, friends, and Alabama football. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Tommy Hopper and parents Colvin Little (Martha) and Joyce Little Henson. She is survived by her sons Lane Thomas Hopper (Missy); Lee Bryant Hopper (Jami); two granddaughters Morgan Rena and Avery Minette Hopper. She is also survived by her brothers: Seaburn Little, Alan Little, (Dee), and David Little (Rhonda) as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is also survived by her four granddogs: Jack, Charli, Sally, and Roots. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home on November 27, 2024. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and service at 2:00 p.m.; graveside service will follow. Pastor Steve Blair with the Church of the Highlands will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Connie Hopper.
Pallbearers include Seaburn Little, Alan Little, David Little, Kevin Bearden, Richard Powers, and Jackson Powers.
