I was fortunate to meet Wayne during a building project he did for our church.

We had hired a different company and things and not gone well. Wayne and MG&A came in and literally saved the day.

It was such a joy to work with him. He was a man of integrity. If he told us something we could count on it happening. During this time we also found out that MG&A was truly a Christian builder! We had met others but he proved to be the real deal.

He loved the Lord and truly loved others.

I am thankful for men like Wayne.

Please know we are praying for the family.

I was honored to work for Wayne for over 7 years.  He was able to teach an engineer how to be a project manager.  He gave me the opportunity to be the project manager for the childrens wing and youth building for his beloved church.  I admired Wayne in so many ways, he was passionate about whatever he was doing.  We used to joke that we needed to get him a t-shirt that said "whatever I'm doing is the best ever".  He will be truly missed!
Lynn, Donald and Amanda you are in my prayers.

I worked with Wayne and the team building churches all over the southeast United States for 12 years. Wayne always seen the best in everyone and instilled a pride and confidence in people that was like no other person I’ve ever known. He saw the best in you and believed in you. Our prayers and sympathies are with the family Lynn, Donald, and Amanda you all have suffered a great loss but remember you will all see him again someday.

Throughout the last twenty years my friendship with Wayne has been steadfast. Anyone who knows this man claims to be his best friend. That’s because through his Spiritual gift of giving, he generously approached every need out of either his abundance of wisdom or resources. He is the most selfless man I ever knew. You simply could not “out give” him.
Our families have shared more lifelong joyful memories than would possibly fit within the confines of this text box. But my favorites were routinely the lunch meetings we shared on a regular basis. While we always had stories of common interests to share, I never recall a “therapy session” that didn’t include a rather deep discussion surrounding God’s great grace that He extends to His elect.
I will treasure our friendship always, and I will strive to duplicate Wayne’s wise manner. Though today we grieve our loss in the temporal, let us rejoice for Wayne’s grand entrance into glory as he is greeted, “Well done, good and faithful servant ...”

Wayne and I served together on the EC. I enjoyed our conversations about building. I was in the building supply business for many years. Our names were close so there were many years that we sat right beside each other. He loved his LORD, family, and work.  The family is in our prayers.  May you feel the LORD’S presence and comfort .

Truly one of the best men I had ever worked for and with. I flew for Wayne early in his business, we trained along side Bobby Allison at Simcon. What great memories I have. We went to many NASCAR races with other great people.
We had great fun racing the little Legend cars!
There are many storied that could be told, all about the Good that Wayne did. Just the fact that I knew him is enough for me!

Nancy and I are saddened to hear of the news of Wayne's passing. I worked with Wayne building churches for over a decade and I've always had a great deal of respect for Wayne. He knew more about church building than any individual I've ever known. To Lynn, Donald and Amanda, we express our sincerest condolences to your and the rest of your family. 

Me and my little brother shared the same twin bed until our older brother left home for colleges had many a wet bed when he was younger. Wayne was a great ball player and we spent many days at Rock Creek ball park watching  him. It was my dad's only thing he did except work. When  our dad died in1965 his team sent a wreath with a cardinal on it because their team was the cardinals. I am sending the same to Wayne. I know I will be with them again in our heavenly home. If love could have kept him here we would of had him forever.
