Elaine was born December 21, 1940, to Vivian Ward Gibson and Vernon Wallace Gibson, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Larry Culver and her brother, Vernon Wallace Gibson, Jr. She is survived by her son, Brian Culver, her daughter, Leticia Culver Burr (Mark), and her two grandsons, Jacob Burr and Samuel Burr.
