EMILY MARIE COX WIGGINS, age 84 of Birmingham, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wiggins; son, Richard Wiggins; parents, J. T. and Ora Lee Cox; brothers, Kenneth “Sonny” Cox and Chester Cox; and sisters, Margie Cox Newsome and Laura Grace Cox. She is survived by her children, Sharon Mayhew, Linda Hatchett (Mark) and Mark Wiggins (Melanie); brother, Ernie Cox (Betty); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will be a graveside service on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens beginning at 10:00 AM.
