Frances McArdle Burdette was 90 and a lifelong resident of Birmingham, Alabama. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Merry Diggers Garden Club of Homewood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Burdette, Sr. and a daughter, Rebecca Ruth Burdette. She is survived by her son, Harold A. Burdette, Jr. and wife Peggy; a granddaughter, Margaret Burdette Waldrop (Chris); a grandson, H. Ansley Burdette, III (Ashley); and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel beginning at 11:00 am followed by a graveside service at 12:00 pm in Elmwood Cemetery.
