Frances John Castleberry was born June 5, 1948. When she was 4 years old, she was adopted by John William Castleberry and Mary Verne Castleberry. She graduated from high school in Muscle Shoals, AL, and attended Business College for two years in Florence, AL. During her adult years, she lived in Lawrenceburg, TN, and Birmingham. She loved to water ski and fish. She was a member of Southminister Presbyterian Church. She felt that God had always blessed her, even in the face of the challenges the she faced in her later years as a result of a series of strokes. Frances is survived by her three children, Tessa Bowles, Gina Brown, and Shannon Brown, and by (two) grandchildren. Peyton and Lila Bowles. Services are to be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Southminister Presbyterian Church, of Vestavia Hills, AL, with burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Tuscumbia. Memorials may be made to Southminister Presbyterian Church.
