MURPHY, FRANCES, age 79, of Irondale, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Murphy; and daughter, Debbie Murphy. She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Murphy (Micki) and Todd Murphy (Terri); daughter, Kathy Rice (David); grandchildren, Jennifer Murphy, Michell Hall (Asa), Andi Purdy (Adam), Laynee Murphy, Nathan Massey, Evan Massey, Kayla Massey, Ben Murphy and Jennifer Stewart (Brett); 2 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; and a sister. Her family will receive friends on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel from 5-7 PM. Her service will be at the chapel on Monday, August 22, 2011 beginning at 10 AM with Bro. Ken Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
