Thinking about Gary today. Met him in Trion, Georgia about 1998 or so. He was such a friendly person who was as sensitive as they come. He became my Associate Pastor and we shared many fun meals hearing his stories. He often greeted me with a bear hug and an “I love you, man!” Not being as affectionate as Gary, I’d get embarrassed but never resisted his embrace. Gary was a great person to many people and was liked by everyone. I miss him and his big smile and contagious laughter. I look forward to seeing you, Gary, in the presence of God! I love you, man! So sorry to hear this news. Worked with Gary several years. Taught me so much.

My true second cousin but claimed him as my only brother. We were truly close as possibly can be. Didn't want to give him up, but now heaven is greatly blessed. See you heaven brother.

I will always remember my friend Gary and the times we had. May God be with you and your family at this time of need.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.  He will be greatly missed.
