Geraldine “Gerry” Myers, age 87 of Birmingham, AL passed away on June 18, 2025 while surrounded by her loving family. She grew up in the Birmingham area and was a graduate of Ensley High School. She retired from Children’s Hospital of Alabama after 30 years of service.
Gerry was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She had a great sense of humor and was known as the “life of the party” to many.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Wayne Myers; her daughter, Christa Myers Blake and her parents, Vance and Edna Thompson. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Myers Love and Susan Myers Powell; her granddaughter, Taylor Paschal (Dustin).
A visitation for friends and family will be held at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Saturday, June 21st from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. with a parlor service following at 11:45 a.m.
