Glenn E. Carroll II

Glenn Edwin Carroll II, age 77, of Springville, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 22, 2023. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn Edwin Carroll and Pauline Allen Carroll; sister, Susan Juengel and his brother, Brian Evan Carroll. Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Joyce Ann Carroll; brother, Richard (Tony) Carroll; sons, Donald G. Carroll (Katie), Christopher L. Carroll (Tracy); daughter, Dawn H Buckner (Ricky); Glenn is also survived by his 9 grandchildren; Richie Buckner, Katie Beth Schopper, Becca Buckner, Allie Carroll, Chase Osborne, Riley Osborne, Chase Gottier, Braiden Gottier, Mady Carroll, 5 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Glenn was an active member of Crosspoint Baptist Church and a member of the Daybreak Bible Study class. He loved southern gospel music, Alabama football and was an avid golfer. If Glenn wasn't golfing or attending a gospel singing, he was busy doing whatever Ann told him to do. A visitation for Glenn will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235, followed by a funeral service beginning at 6:30 PM. Burial will take place Friday, May 26, 2023 at Alabama National Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Daybreak Bible Study class at Crosspoint church.
