Mr. Jack Howell Pearson, 97, passed away on March 26, 2021. He was born in Dothan, AL on May 29, 1923 and was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in World War II. He graduated from Auburn University where he was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and later graduated from the Birmingham School of Law. Jack was a long term employee of the IRS and retired as the in-house attorney for Bessemer Carraway Hospital. He was also a longtime member of Bluff Park United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; Oscar and Dora Pearson, sister; Catherine Pearson and his son; John H. Pearson.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Sue A. Pearson.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm in Elmwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bluff Park United Methodist Church.
